We are a friendly and approachable team who will give you honest, straight-forward legal and practical advice and representation.
Traditionally, solicitors turn to barrister's like ourselves for an opinion on the law based on your instructions. You are now allowed to approach us directly, this means that you no longer need to go to a solicitor in order to obtain advice from a barrister as was once the case.
We are a team of criminal barristers with a wealth of experience of matters in the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal.
This means we are highly experienced and specialist advocates who spend every day in these courts. We are used to dealing with jury trials and addressing this country's most senior Judges
This role requires a working knowledge of complicated rules of evidence combined with a quick thinking and persuasive approach to addressing both judge and jury that is by now second nature.
No other area of the legal profession can offer this.
Furthermore, we are adept at following our clients' instructions and putting those instructions in a way designed to achieve the best results.
In dealing with criminal matters we are used to considering matters such as recklessness and intent. We deal open-mindedly with people who are accused both rightly and wrongly of taking banned substances and we are used to taking a creative approach to sentencing.
Our core skills are advocacy, negotiation, advising and drafting, backed by intelligence, common sense and an ability to communicate.
